A 360° view of the Play.

Brian decided that a playwright should at some point in his life know what it is like to bring a script to life. He took advantage of the theatre department at SFSU while completing his MFA in Creative Writing to perform in two productions.

In February of 2026 Brian played the role of Pyotr Nikolayevich Sorin in a production of Chekov’s, The Seagull at San Francisco State University.

Brian’s character was supposed to look scruffy and rumpled. He thinks he nailed it.

In May of 2025 Brian played Judge Littlefield in SFSU’s sold out run of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis. He was delighted that no one seemed to notice it was his first time on the stage.
